1.5 Ton/Hour Feed Production Line – 1-Batching System

A feed production line with a capacity of 1.5 tons per hour, relying on a single batching scale to weigh the raw materials before mixing. It covers grinding, mixing, pelleting, and cooling, with the option to add a crumbler when producing poultry feed.

Production Line Components

First Screw Conveyor

Moves the raw materials from the receiving point to the grinder bin.

Raw Material Bin

Receives the raw materials and feeds the grinder located below it.

Feeder

Regulates the amount of material entering the grinder.

Grinder

Grinds the raw materials to the suitable size depending on the type of feed.

Grinder power: 30 HP.

Transfer Screw Conveyor

Moves the ground material from the bottom of the grinder to the batching area.

Batching Scale

Weighs the raw materials according to the ratios required in the mix.

The line relies on a single batching scale instead of a group of batching bins.

Air Gate

Used when the scale is installed above the mixer, and helps prevent air from flowing back while the material moves.

Mixer

Mixes the materials after they are weighed to obtain a homogeneous mix.

Mixer capacity: 0.5 ton – 200×72 cm.

Pellet Mill Bin

Receives the mix before it enters the pellet mill and helps feed the pellet mill.

Pellet Mill

Turns the mix into feed pellets.

Die size: 250.

Conveyor to the Cooler

Moves the pellets leaving the pellet mill to the cooler.

Cooler

Lowers the temperature of the pellets after pelleting and helps reduce moisture before they move to the next stage.

Cooler size: 100 cm.

Crumbler – When Needed

Used when producing crumbled poultry feed, where it crumbles the pellets to the required size.

It is not needed when producing whole pellets.

Crumbler size: 60 cm.

Screener

Separates the fines from the final product, and the fines can be returned to the pellet mill depending on the line design.

Finished Product Bin

Receives the product after the processing stages are complete, with a capacity of 2–3 tons.

How the Line Works

The material moves through the line in the following order:

Receiving materials → Grinding → Batching and weighing → Mixing → Pelleting → Cooling → Crumbling when needed → Screening → Finished product bin

The final equipment layout is determined according to the plant area and the line design.

The 1-Batching System

This line relies on a single batching scale to weigh the materials before mixing.

This design reduces the number of batching bins required and makes the line simpler in terms of equipment layout and operation.

How the scale is used and where it is placed are determined according to the line design and the plant area.

Producing Pellets or Crumbled Feed

The line can be run to produce feed pellets.

When producing crumbled poultry feed, a crumbling stage is added after cooling.

So:

Whole pellets:

Pelleting → Cooling → Screening → Final product

Crumbled poultry feed:

Pelleting → Cooling → Crumbling → Screening → Final product
