Feed Production Line 1.5 t/h — Single Dosing

Feed Production Line 1.5 t/h — Single Dosing

The 1.5 t/h feed line with a single dosing scale is an effective solution for small and medium mills that want a steady output and precise control over ingredient ratios. At the Al-Adham factory, led by Mahmoud Abu Taleb, this line was designed as a complete production sequence that keeps material flowing smoothly, from raw material intake through to the finished product.

Line overview

What sets this line apart is its use of a single dosing scale as the main control point instead of the traditional dosing hoppers — which lowers the cost and simplifies operation while still setting ingredient ratios accurately before mixing. The 80 cm feeder ahead of the hammer mill improves grinding efficiency and prevents overloading, while the conveyor belts move the pellets between stages without damaging them.

Stages of the 1.5 t/h line with a single dosing scale

Stage 1

Raw material intake screw conveyor

It draws the various raw materials from storage or intake into the production line, keeping the feed continuous without interruption or build-up.

Stage 2

Hammer mill bin (2–3 tonne capacity)

It receives the material drawn in by the screw conveyor so the flow into the hammer mill stays even, and it reduces unplanned stoppages.

Stage 3

Feeder ahead of the hammer mill (80 cm)

It regulates the flow from the bin into the hammer mill at a steady rate, prevents overloading and keeps the grind consistent.

Stage 4

30 hp hammer mill

It grinds the raw materials to the right size before mixing, and is built to hold 1.5 t/h steadily and efficiently.

Stage 5

Screw conveyor to the dosing scale

After grinding, the conveyor moves the ground material to the dosing scale so its quantities are set precisely before mixing.

Stage 6 ★

The dosing scale — the main control point

It sets the ingredient ratios in the mix precisely, and replaces the traditional dosing hoppers to lower cost and simplify operation. The material then passes automatically through an air gate into the mixer.

Stage 7

Mixer (half-tonne capacity, 200 × 72 cm)

It blends the ground materials in exact proportions to reach a uniform mix before pelleting.

Stage 8

Pellet mill bin (2–3 tonne capacity)

It sits between the mixer and the pellet mill, fed by an 8-inch screw conveyor, and feeds the press continuously without build-up or gaps.

250 pellet mill, die size
Stage 9

250 pellet mill (die size), rated 1.5 t/h

It turns the mixed feed into firm pellets to the required standard, giving a consistent product ready either for direct use or for further processing.

Stage 10

Belt from the pellet mill to the cooler

It carries the pellets away from the press slowly so they hold together before cooling, and prevents any bottlenecks.

Stage 11

Cooler (100 cm) with its accessories

It takes the excess heat out of the pellets and lowers their moisture, improving feed quality and how well it stores.

Stage 12

60 cm crumbler — when needed

Used only for poultry feed, where it breaks the pellets into smaller sizes that suit birds. It can be skipped when producing livestock feed.

Stage 13

Belt carrying the pellets to the final bin

It delivers the cooled or crumbled pellets straight to the final bin without losing any product.

Stage 14

Finished product bin (2–3 tonnes)

It gives the finished product somewhere to sit before distribution or packing, and lets the line keep running without stopping.

Strengths of the 1.5 t/h single-dosing line

  • A steady 1.5 t/h output It meets what small and medium mills need, and can be upgraded later.
  • Economical and simple Using a dosing scale in place of traditional dosing hoppers lowers the cost and simplifies operation.
  • High grinding and feeding efficiency The 80 cm feeder ahead of the hammer mill keeps the raw material flowing evenly and prevents overloading.
  • The conveyor belts protect product quality They move the product between stages without breaking the pellets or wasting material.
  • Production flexibility The crumbler can be switched on for poultry feed, or skipped for livestock feed.
  • Quality of the finished feed The cooler and screen together give clean, consistent pellets to the required standard.
