Feed Crumblers

A pellet mill makes one size; rearing has stages. The crumbler is what lets a single line serve every stage instead of producing one size that suits only one.

Who it is for

The crumbler is for poultry feed: a chick cannot swallow a pellet sized for a grown bird, so the pellet is broken down to the size each growth stage needs. On cattle lines the crumbler is usually skipped.

Where it sits

After the pellet mill and the cooler, before the screen and packing. It can be skipped on cattle lines with no effect on the rest of the line.

The roller changes between sizes

The 60 and 80 cm sizes use a roller Ø17 cm — a hollow tube with a 10 mm wall. The 100 cm and above use a roller Ø24 cm in solid cast iron: heavier, so it needs far more power, but built for crumbling and longer-lived.

Sizes

Larger sizes are built to order.

Motors are GAMAK (Türkiye) as standard. German or Italian brands can be supplied on request, with the quotation adjusted accordingly.

Warranty

The steel structure carries a ten-year warranty. Wear parts — hammers, dies and press rollers — carry one year, since they are replaced through normal use. Motors carry their own manufacturer’s warranty.
