3 Ton/Hour Feed Production Line – 1-Batching

A feed production line with a capacity of up to 3 tons per hour, running a 1-batching system. It covers grinding the raw materials, weighing, mixing, pelleting, and cooling, with the option to add a crumbler to produce crumbled feed for poultry.

Production Line Components

  1. First Screw Conveyor: Moves the raw materials to the raw material bin.
  2. Raw Material Bin: Receives the raw materials and prepares them for the grinding stage.
  3. Feeder: Regulates the entry of raw materials into the grinder.
  4. Grinder: Grinds the raw materials to the size suited to feed manufacturing.
  5. Transfer Screw Conveyor: Moves the ground material to the batching stage.
  6. Batching Scale: Used to weigh the ingredients according to the required feed formula.
  7. Air Gate: Helps discharge the material from the scale into the mixer, depending on the equipment layout.
  8. Mixer: Mixes the ingredients after they are weighed to obtain a homogeneous mix.
  9. Pellet Mill Bin: Receives the mixed feed and feeds the pellet mill.
  10. Pellet Mill: Compresses the feed and shapes it into pellets.
  11. Conveyor to the Cooler: Moves the pellets from the pellet mill to the cooler.
  12. Cooler: Lowers the temperature of the pellets after pelleting.
  13. Crumbler – Optional: Crumbles the pellets to produce the crumbled feed used in poultry feeds.
  14. Screener: Separates the fines from the final feed pellets, and the fines can be returned to the pellet mill depending on the line design.
  15. Finished Product Bin: Receives the feed after the production stages are complete.

How the Production Line Works

The raw materials go through the following stages:

  1. Moving the raw materials to the raw material bin.
  2. Grinding the raw materials with the grinder.
  3. Moving the ground material to the batching scale.
  4. Weighing the ingredients according to the feed formula.
  5. Mixing the ingredients inside the mixer.
  6. Moving the mix to the pellet mill bin.
  7. Pelleting the feed and shaping it into pellets.
  8. Moving the pellets to the cooler.
  9. Using the crumbler when needed to produce crumbled feed.
  10. Screening the product and separating the fines.
  11. Collecting the final product in its designated bin.

The 1-Batching System

The line relies on a single batching system to weigh the ingredients according to the required feed formula before they move to the mixer.

Producing Pellets and Crumbled Feed

The line produces feed as pellets after pelleting and cooling. A crumbler can be added after the cooler to produce the crumbled feed used in poultry feeds.

Line Layout Inside the Plant

The equipment layout is determined according to the plant area and the installation plan, in a way that suits the path the material takes between production stages.
