Feed Dosing Scales

The dosing scale is where the formula is controlled. It weighs each ingredient before it enters the mixer, so the batch comes out at the ratios intended rather than the ratios an operator judged by eye.

Cheaper than dosing hoppers

On our lines the dosing scale replaces traditional dosing hoppers: lower cost, simpler operation, the same accuracy. After weighing, material passes automatically through a pneumatic gate into the mixer.

Why it matters

A formula that shifts from batch to batch produces feed whose results shift with it, and the farmer never learns why. The scale makes the batch a number that can be repeated instead of a judgement that can be approximated.

Warranty

The steel structure carries a ten-year warranty. Wear parts — hammers, dies and press rollers — carry one year, since they are replaced through normal use. Motors carry their own manufacturer’s warranty.
